Nintendo Unveils Super Mario Maker for Wii U
Japanese multinational consumer electronics company, Nintendo has brought out Super Mario Maker for the Wii U. It has been conceived as a side-scroller platformer and as a game creation video.
Let’s take a look at what’s in store for all the Mario fans out there!
With the Super Mario Maker feature, players can indulge in the creation and playing of custom levels designed by theme based on Super Mario Bros, Super Mario Bros 3, Super Mario World and New Super Mario Bros. Its uniqueness lies in the fact that it can be shared online. A well laid out architecture and a unique intuitiveness defines the characteristic of the Super Mario Maker. It piques the imagination of designers and developers for creating levels and also appeals to small children and the not-so-active adults.
The Super Mario Maker also allows for an unspecified amount of Amiibo support for the game, an exclusive feature of the original Super Mario Bros theme with the Mystery Mushroom. It facilitates the dressing of Mario in a costume, which represents its corresponding costumes. If there is a dearth of the Amiibos, they can be unlocked by playing through all the levels of the 100 Mario Challenge. A gamer can choose an option from a palette option and place it on a grid level with the Wii U gamepad. Once created, the level can be shared publicly.
A level is needed to be completed once the creation process has been initiated, so, automatic death traps cannot be published. In the initial stages, there will be a limit on players in the amount of courses, which can be uploaded online, though there is an unlocking ability to upload additional courses. As gamers progress through the game, they are provided with new editing tools. This enables them to download and play creations, which are the brainchild of other players
A big mushroom added by the new 8-bit Amiibo renders a great experience by turning Mario into a giant and giving moustaches to the enemies. The controls presented by the Super Mario Maker are of excellent technical quality reminiscent of Nintendo’s superior development and refinement features following 30 years of research. The graphical pallets for all the themes have stayed loyal to their original styles and present a wonderful visual experience in HD format on a widescreen TV.
The music and sounds are classic Mario style and have a nostalgic feel to it, which will have the Mario Brothers fan wanting to relive the experience over and over again. The Super Mario Maker disc comprises a number of pre-made courses, which can be played in the 10 Mario Challenge. The player can avail of 10 lives for completing eight levels. The player can also test his gaming skills in the 100 Mario Challenge where he can play against random gaming levels created by the community.
In a nutshell, the Super Mario game is a dream-come-true for every Nintendo fan. Cutting across all age groups, i has provided a unique gaming experience to all avid gamers to be cherished for time to come.
